Manchester United’s problem isn’t just one player, the whole squad has issues.
They create chances but waste too many, the attack lacks consistency, the midfield struggles to control games, and the defence looks vulnerable whenever opponents attack.
What makes it worse is that this is largely the same squad that finished 3rd last season.
Something has clearly gone wrong this season, and Carrick needs to find the solution quickly.
