Saronic’s rapidly fielded, 24-foot autonomous vessel, built right here in Austin—the Corsair USV—navigated forward and safely pulled the two pilots out of harm’s way, marking the first known combat search and rescue mission executed by an autonomous surface vessel in American history. Those pilots are alive today because of the innovation that takes place under this very roof."
