I passed the law to ensure Congress can conduct surprise oversight inspections of ICE facilities.
I've used that ability to shut down cruel ICE facilities like the Homestead Child Detention Center and Alligator Alcatraz. I’ll keep the pressure on until real ICE reforms are made.
