In one week, Claude Opus 5 launched at $5 per million input tokens, xAI pushed free Grok add-ins into Microsoft 365, DeepSeek V4 and Alibaba’s latest Qwen image model expanded the open-model frontier, and NVIDIA advanced Cosmos 3 Edge for real-time physical AI at the edge. As intelligence becomes cheaper and more abundant, the advantage moves away from raw model access and toward distribution, workflow ownership, compute efficiency, and the ability to turn low-cost intelligence into durable user networks.

Capital is increasingly concentrated in "consensus themes," and post-adoption companies. The result is potential reduced inflows to early-stage investments. 2. There is no debate that the financing structure that often benefitted and attracted inflows to Crypto venture capital (tokens + equity) is increasingly being called into question in an environment with constrained net inflows. 3. Crypto's definition is changing. Blockchain (ledger), digital assets (equities, commodities, deposits, and stablecoins), and crypto tokens. Nature of institutional adoption tends to be concentrated in 1 and 2, with elements of 3 in traditional financial products. 4. We are seeing a wave of talent migration from Crypto -> AI. Despite this, we @decasonic believe that the opportunity for investments at the intersection of Web3 x AI is increasingly more relevant, and we are actively looking to partner with founders aiming to push the frontier.
