Tesla with FSD is a transportation robot.
I had one of the first Model 3s in 2017. FSD was basically slightly better cruise control. Great on the highway. But honestly felt oversold.
So I have been driving a BMW for the past 3 years. Great horse, fun to drive.
But tried FSD recently and holy shit — it’s a personal Waymo. Works perfectly. I just went to the Fremont factory to get my new car, entered my address 30+ mins away, pushed a button, and got home without doing a thing.
I don’t think most people realize how good this is, probably because they only experienced an early version previously. This is 1000x better. Metaphor for AI writ large. Like trying GPT 3.5 and thinking it’s cute and hallucinates, and dismissing it…while Astra launches in 2026 and is orders of magnitude more capable.

Have switched to Muse since launch and it’s an overall way better experience due to being it’s own native app. I’m a sucker for the minor delightful details and having access to Instagram bookmarks is huge.

Surprised we haven’t seen more publicly disclosed email prompt injection attacks, especially with consumers running a Claw or equivalent.
Am I too paranoid to think email access should only be given to a model with no other tool / internet use, with labeling and drafts via Gmail MCP as the only allowed actions?

Opposing market-based pricing for restaurant reservations is dumb.
1. Restaurant (notoriously low margin!) makes more money. That’s a good thing.
2. Assuming you have the bidding infra, seems plausible and likely the same software will allow owners to reward regulars / locals with a dedicated supply or a presale window.
3. Only people who lose out here are people with today’s bots.

Took 5 months and agents are not even built-in to the OS yet.
First come, first served website and app experiences are cooked.
Bots have been a thing for a while, but now anyone can have an agent with computer use do it for them. Orders of magnitude increase in bots.
Companies with more $$$ at stake will adapt sooner, eg tickets, but there are a bunch of services that will be worse: restaurant reservations, national park campsites, golf tee times, tennis courts, etc.
