Emergency and rescue operations are still ongoing in Kyiv at three sites of last night’s Russian strikes. First responders have already managed to clear a significant part of the rubble, but 10 people are still missing. The search operation will continue for as long as needed. As of now, it is known that 30 people were killed in yesterday’s attack on Kyiv. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Nearly one hundred people were wounded, including children. Yesterday evening, the Russians attacked Kryvyi Rih, striking the territory of an ordinary garage cooperative. Seven people were wounded. Residential buildings and two schools were damaged. A private home in the Kharkiv region was attacked overnight. Six people were injured, three of them children. Yesterday afternoon, the Russians launched missile strikes on the regional hospital in Kherson. They knew exactly what they were targeting and that there was no military purpose in it. Sadly, a doctor was killed, and a nurse was also wounded. Overnight in the Sumy region, a drone strike on an apartment building killed four people, including a mother and her daughter. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Every day and every night, the Russians strike ordinary civilian infrastructure, and terror is the only argument they have left for not stopping the war. Reliable protection of Ukraine’s skies is needed as a prerequisite for diplomacy. We count on the support of our partners, above all with anti-ballistic capabilities. I am grateful to everyone who is already helping.

One of the sites of the Russian strike in Kyiv is an ordinary nine-story residential building. One Russian missile destroyed 64 apartments. The rubble is still being cleared at the site. All relevant agencies are working. Unfortunately, there are casualties. As of now, three people have been reported killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Seventeen people have been rescued. Russia has once again deliberately attacked ordinary civilians and residential buildings. In Kyiv, more than 130 such buildings have been damaged in total. It is important that our partners not simply stand by and watch as human lives are being destroyed. Pressure must be put on Russia, and it must be forced to end this aggression. It is very important to continue supporting our air defense. New contributions to the PURL program, active cooperation to build up our anti-ballistic defense – all of this is necessary to protect our people. Russia must be left with no opportunity to continue this terror. I thank all partners who stand with our people and are ready to help.

Kyiv today: 13 killed, 90+ injured — most of them in ordinary residential buildings. Russia struck 28 sites across the city overnight with 70+ missiles and nearly 500 drones. This is Russia's daily war on civilians. "Air defense supplies for Ukraine are an absolute and critical priority." @ZelenskyyUa

The response to the aftermath of Russia’s attack is still ongoing in Kyiv: first responders are clearing the rubble, searching for people, and providing assistance. Damage has been reported at more than 20 sites across the city, most of them ordinary residential buildings. There was also damage to an ambulance station, a research institute, a hotel, and businesses. As of now, we know that, tragically, 13 people were killed in this Russian strike. My condolences to their families and loved ones. More than 90 others were injured. Everyone who needs help is receiving all necessary assistance. Five people were wounded in the Kharkiv region, including a child, and two more in the Kyiv region, where civilian infrastructure was also targeted. Overnight, Russia also struck the Sumy, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Cherkasy regions. In total, Russia launched more than 70 missiles of various types against Ukraine overnight, nearly half of them ballistic missiles, along with almost 500 attack drones, including jet-powered “shaheds.” The main strike was directed at Kyiv. Our air defenders managed to shoot down a significant number of the incoming targets, but not all of them. Air defense supplies for Ukraine are an absolute and critical priority. Contributions to the PURL program remain essential – they directly help save lives. Every bilateral agreement we reach with our partners on air defense truly makes a difference. I am grateful to every leader who is helping. It is especially important that we move forward with implementing our agreements on the production of anti-ballistic capabilities. We also very much count on a decision by the United States regarding licenses for Patriots and other forms of cooperation. These are the kinds of steps that can stop this war and prevent attacks like this. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine, with our people, and with our efforts to protect life.

Great meeting with @PlJonson. Grateful for Sweden's historic decision to provide Gripen fighter to protect our skies! We discussed the next steps for pilot training, strengthening air defense via the ~$500M PURL mechanism, and enhancing our deep-strike capabilities. We are also boosting our MilTech cooperation by planning the launch of "Brave Sweden" based on our @BRAVE1ua model and preparing a bilateral Drone Deal. Thank you, Sweden, for your powerful leadership.

Battlefield-tested Ukrainian defense tech is going global⚡️ We’ve launched a transparent export mechanism for our key partners under the Drone Deal framework, as initiated by President @ZelenskyyUa. This gives our manufacturers clear rules to scale production and attract global investment, while keeping our Armed Forces’ needs as the 100% priority. Export is only permitted once all domestic contracts are fully secured. Ukraine's intellectual property remains protected at all times. We have built a powerhouse market inside Ukraine, and now, we are expanding to the global stage.

For the second time, our sanctions in response to Russia’s prolongation of the war have reached the oil refinery in Ufa, one of Russia’s largest producers of lubricants. The distance is more than 1,300 kilometers from the frontline. Also in the Penza region, our weapons reached a strategic facility of Russia’s military-industrial complex involved in developing and manufacturing components for missile weaponry that the occupiers use to strike our cities and communities. The distance to the target is about 600 kilometers from the frontline. Every day, our plan for imposing Ukrainian long-range sanctions is being implemented. This is an entirely just response to everything Russia is doing against us. Peace is needed, and this is exactly what Russia’s leadership must realize. Russia must end its war. And Russia’s leadership has every opportunity to do so. I thank every Ukrainian warrior who ensures our long-range accuracy. — @ZelenskyyUa
