Congratulations to Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi on his appointment as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is a breath of fresh air and a new source of hope in the fight of free people for freedom and justice. It is the voice of change that could no longer be ignored. Now, the high expectations of the Ukrainian people must be met with a clear vision for bringing the War of Independence to a successful conclusion, a strong team and decisive action focused on saving the lives of our service members, accelerating the robotization of the battlefield, delivering asymmetric strikes and exhausting Russia’s economy. I also called General Oleksandr Syrskyi to thank him for the defense of the Kyiv region, the Kharkiv counteroffensive and other historic battles. These achievements are already an important part of Ukraine’s history. But now we must move even faster, write the next chapters of that history and correct the mistakes of the past. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.

We transformed Ukraine into a global tech leader and a defense powerhouse. Beyond digital IDs, Diia.Cіty, and 5G, we revolutionized warfare. Through the Army of Drones and the @BRAVE1ua cluster, we achieved a logistical lockdown for the occupiers, reached a 91% Shahed interception rate, and launched the unique e-Points system to incentivize our troops on the frontlines. 7 years of service. It has been a great honor to serve the Ukrainian people as the Minister of Defense. Here is what our team managed to achieve: 1. Disabled Starlink access for Russian forces. 2. Took over a Ministry of Defense with zero budget, took a risk, reallocated funds from payroll from the end of the year, and effectively invested them in mid-strike capabilities, fiber-optic FPVs, low-cost reconnaissance, ground robotic platforms, interceptor drones, and deep-strike drones. 3. Launched "Logistical Lockdown", this cut off enemy logistics and initiated the isolation of Crimea. 4. Continued the funding program for the Drone Line. 5. Launched a support program for modern drone-assault units that rely primarily on advanced technologies in combat. 6. Introduced a 70% advance payment policy for procurements made via e-Points on the Brave1 Market portal. 7. Fundamentally overhauled the procurement system. 8. Procured thousands of pickup trucks, buggies, and ATVs for the military for the first time—and did so through open tenders. 9. The drone interception rate rose from 83% to 91%, and the cruise missile interception rate soared from 47% to 87%. 10. Contracted Patriot PAC-2 GEM-T missiles for the first time, and submitted an application through an EU loan to purchase PAC-3 missiles. 11. Launched a baseline drone supply system for brigades and corps. 12. Launched a massive grant program for manufacturers of explosives and missiles. 13. Initiated an unpopular but vital transformation of the military. 14. Conducted three UDCG meetings, where we successfully broke through the Russian information trap claiming our defeat, restoring partners' faith in Ukraine. This secured $40 billion in support announced for this year (excluding the EU loan). 15. Launched the mechanism to utilize the EU loan for our military priorities. 16. Found a way to scale cheap missiles against jet-powered Shaheds and signed a record-breaking contract. 17. Our domestic ballistics. We radically revised the technical specifications, maximized accuracy, and reduced the cost by 30%. 18. Signed a contract to procure Gripen fighter jets. 19. Collaborated with the military to plan and execute Operation Auchan, which halted the enemy's mechanized offensive for six months. 20. Opened up exports under the Drone Deal program to attract investment and scale up domestic defense-industrial complex (OPK) production. 21. Launched the Trophy Lab, providing partners with the opportunity to study captured Russian military technologies. 22. Launched the Defense AI Center A1 to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence on the battlefield. Thank you to my entire team for their relentless 24/7 service. Through the new BraveTech EU Ukraine Support Instrument, our companies can access €260M to scale up production and €35.3M for innovation grants—covering up to 100% of costs. This is a true win-win. Boosting F-16 pilot training: Ukraine has received rare mobile simulators to prepare our crews without needing actual jets. These specialized units allow pilots to practice complex combat scenarios, enhancing our ability to shoot down Russian missiles and save lives. This new delivery expands our training capacity, ensuring quality training at high intensity. We continue to build our Air Force according to NATO standards. Grateful to the Air Force Capability Coalition, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Austria, and the developers.

16,600+ missions in June: ground robots are saving lives on the front line. From logistics to medical evacuation, UGV units are taking over the most dangerous tasks. With 22,000+ units already contracted for 2026, we are scaling tech that keeps our soldiers safe.

Unique footage of the Auchan Operation—a brilliant asymmetric strike where tech and precision planning halted a Russian mechanized offensive for 6 months. This deep-rear operation struck 949 targets in just 3 days, forcing Russia to withdraw heavy armor. Recently, we repeated the operation with a newly developed munition specifically targeting enemy artillery, hitting another 231 targets. Across both phases, 1,180 enemy targets were hit. My sincere thanks to Lasar’s Group of the National Guard of Ukraine, the 412th NEMESIS Unmanned Systems Brigade, and all the other service members who made this operation possible.

Last night, Russia once again launched a large-scale combined attack against Ukraine. Our air defense forces intercepted nearly all cruise missiles and more than 90% of the Shahed drones. However, ballistic missiles once again struck civilian areas. Unable to achieve its objectives on the battlefield, Russia is increasingly directing ballistic missile attacks at residential buildings, killing innocent civilians. Russia is deliberately escalating its use of ballistic missiles, launching them at a scale not previously seen while exploiting the critical shortage of interceptor missiles for Patriot air defense systems. Worldwide, fewer Patriot interceptor missiles are produced each month than Russia launches against Ukraine over the same period. Following the President’s discussions with European leaders, I will hold a series of talks today with my counterparts — the defense ministers of countries that have Patriot interceptor missiles in their stockpiles. We have already signed contracts for Patriot interceptor missiles and continue to secure additional agreements, with deliveries scheduled to begin next year. Our appeal to our partners is straightforward: transfer missiles from your stockpiles now, and replenish them later through our future deliveries. A simple decision by our partners to temporarily transfer missiles from their stockpiles will save countless Ukrainian lives. We cannot allow bureaucratic caution to become an obstacle to protecting human life. These missiles belong in Ukraine’s air defense system now — not sitting in stockpiles. Our priority is to provide Ukraine with additional Patriot interceptor missiles as quickly as possible. The protection of Ukraine’s skies and the lives of our people depend on it.

Logistics destroyed, capabilities reduced. ​In June, the Defense Forces hit over 200,000 enemy targets, with a massive focus on supply lines and deep strikes. Thanks to the e-Points system, we are identifying effective tactics and scaling them across the entire front.

Great meeting with @PlJonson. Grateful for Sweden's historic decision to provide Gripen fighter to protect our skies! We discussed the next steps for pilot training, strengthening air defense via the ~$500M PURL mechanism, and enhancing our deep-strike capabilities. We are also boosting our MilTech cooperation by planning the launch of "Brave Sweden" based on our @BRAVE1ua model and preparing a bilateral Drone Deal. Battlefield-tested Ukrainian defense tech is going global⚡️ We’ve launched a transparent export mechanism for our key partners under the Drone Deal framework, as initiated by President @ZelenskyyUa. This gives our manufacturers clear rules to scale production and attract global investment, while keeping our Armed Forces’ needs as the 100% priority. Export is only permitted once all domestic contracts are fully secured. Ukraine's intellectual property remains protected at all times. We have built a powerhouse market inside Ukraine, and now, we are expanding to the global stage.

Investing in Ukrainian explosives production via @BRAVE1ua. Six companies received grants to scale manufacturing, fueling our drones and ammo amid a global shortage. We are also funding the next tech cycle of this war: AI cruise missiles, combat robots, and laser air defense. Scaling 🇺🇦 defense tech.

Strengthening our skies! Ukraine and Sweden signed a historic agreement to purchase 16 advanced Gripen E fighter jets. These jets will significantly boost our capabilities against drones, cruise missiles, and enemy aviation. As a first step, we’ll receive 16 Gripen C/D jets in early 2027 as military aid, while today’s deal for the E models secures our long-term air superiority. Training is already underway. Ukraine has received the first EUR 3.9 billion instalment under the first EUR 5.01 billion defence tranche of the EU’s Ukraine Support Loan. These resources will be invested directly in expanding Ukraine’s defence production - scaling up drones and other critical capabilities for our Defence Forces. This is an investment in Europe’s defence industrial capacity and in our shared security. I am grateful to Commissioner @KubiliusA, High Representative @kajakallas, the European Commission, and all EU Member States for making this possible and for their continued confidence in Ukraine’s defence industry. Work is already underway, and we look forward to the completion of the first defence tranche in the coming days.

Productive meeting with @RachelReevesMP. Urged to unlock frozen Russian assets via the ERA program to fund Ukraine’s top defense needs: air defense, long-range ammo, and our drones. We also discussed Ukraine's defense procurement reforms and tightening sanctions on Russia's "shadow fleet". Grateful for the UK's unwavering support!

Strengthened our defense tech partnership with Denmark during a meeting with @JeppeBruus in Kyiv. Key focus: implementing the Drone Deal. Ukraine is ready to share unique battlefield data and innovations in exchange for more frontline assets. This is a true win-win for modern warfare tech. We also discussed developing a joint European anti-ballistic project and unlocking €6B from the European Peace Facility to cover our critical defense needs. Grateful to Denmark for being a agile and reliable ally!

Tightening the logistical lockdown of the Russian army and launching the first open tender for a record procurement of middle-strike drones. In recent months, Ukraine has significantly increased its middle-strike capabilities and initiated a logistical lockdown of the Russian army. Thanks to increased contracting of these drones, the Ukrainian military is systematically destroying Russian logistics, supply depots, command posts, equipment, and other targets. Over the past six months, the number of strikes at the operational depth of the frontline has increased nearly tenfold. This has enabled the launch of a campaign to isolate Crimea and reinforced Ukraine's advantage on the battlefield.

Ukraine has received 10 ALTO NG training aircraft to accelerate pilot preparation right here inside the country. 5 were provided by the Czech Government within the Air Force Capability Coalition, and another 5 were funded by the Dárek pro Putina foundation. These light aircraft significantly lower the cost of flight hours, increase our training autonomy, and align our programs with NATO standards. They give our pilots the perfect foundation to transition seamlessly to advanced Western jets. Huge thanks to Czechia for strengthening our skies!
