A Wisconsin judge was convicted of a felony-- hiding a criminal accused of domestic assault from immigration enforcement. Bar license revoked? No, not even suspended, per 5-2 Wisconsin Supreme Court ruling. The felonious judge's law license is "active" and in "good standing"

Also, for confusion sake, this is not going to be subject to the Supreme Court's stay. The Eighth Circuit remands with order to dissolve the TRO and enter a permanent injunction. This is like what the First Circuit does. It stayed its own opinion for 7 days. Then, Missouri First!

Wow. The Supreme Court agreed to hear a case about whether a person who could be deported due to an aggravated felony could be held without bail pending deportation. Three days before the brief was due, Governor @GovKathyHochul *pardoned* the felon to end the case. Case dismissed

Colorado passed a law mandating that AI models be woke, instead of truthful. To its great credit, @xai sued. Now @TheJusticeDept is intervening too. Looking at Colorado's track record with the First Amendment at the Supreme Court, I'm feeling like they have a good shot.
