The dumbest thing I did when I first got into Web3 was act like I understood everything. I’d see conversations full of words and concepts I’d never heard before and think, "I’ll figure it out later." Sometimes I did. Other times I stayed confused for way longer than I needed to because I didn’t want to ask what felt like a stupid question. That’s probably why this stood out to me. The most useful communities I’ve found were never the ones where everyone tried to sound smart. They were the ones where you could say "I don’t get this" without feeling embarrassed about it. Maybe the fastest way to learn isn’t always sitting alone and trying to figure everything out. Sometimes it’s just finding people you’re comfortable enough to ask.
