ALERT: Scottsdale man accused of stalking his rich friends' social media and robbing them while they were on vacation. Tyler Lee Johnson, 41, allegedly stalked wealthy victims through mutual social circles and followed their accounts on Instagram. When the victims would post about being on vacation, Johnson would use the updates to confirm houses were empty and then go and rob them. Johnson would drive a white Toyota Camry to rob the homes and cut the main power to the homes to disable security cameras, then use his 6-foot-5 frame to bust down the rear glass doors or windows. Dressed in all-black clothing with a ski mask and gloves, Johnson stole Rolex and Cartier watches, Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags, a signed Kobe Bryant MVP jersey valued at over $100,000, and much more. Investigators believe Johnson could have robbed over 20 different victims in at least 5 different cities. Johnson is being held in the Maricopa County Jail on $20,000 bond and charged with second-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools.
