SpaceX just dropped the Terafab vision video and it’s nuts. It’s a megastructure for real. Largest chip fab on Earth, and it looks like a Cyberpunk city. This is the future I want. (Minus the dystopia).

I'll also add that I think they should have stuck with Eve in Stellar Blade. That's what gamers wanted and everyone loved. Switching main characters is just never good for a series unless it has a rich world to lean on, and Stellar Blade just isn't that fleshed out or rich as a story. Even if you do have such a world...well, that's like switching out Master Chief in Halo. It's inherently gonna be off putting and make people miss the originals more.

Okay let's talk about Evie and Stellar Blade: Blood Rain. As much as I'm a fan of Stellar Blade and have no problem with using AI in games, this was just...not good. The quality wasn't there, and it felt really weird. I think if you're going to use AI in games, and you are AAA, you have a bar to meet. This isn't it. I think that's what it comes down to. You can tell it's AI, it broadcasts itself as AI and the quality bar fell. That's why you have loyalist fans that are upset, and I think rightfully so. Not because it is AI, but because it's not good. If this had been as good and solid feeling as their hand crafted work, only the anti-AI crowd would have been upset. But this just lets down the fans of the studio, because it was so off compared what the studio usually delivers. AI is a great tool. It just wasn't ready for a main character focused centerpiece of marketing.

This is the Stellar Blade AI assisted video released yesterday that has people talking. I can see that it still has that "uncanny valley" feeling. AI's just not there yet, but this is the worse it will be.

A big Stellar Blade fan account has turned against Blood Rain because of it's use of AI. Nobody cares. Customers have only ever cared if the game is fun. When people cry "AI uses stolen art" nobody cares because ALL OF US had our data used. Artists aren't special. People recognize that the genie is out, and that we would have to boycott EVERY product these days. That's not gonna happen.

Absolutely nobody had a problem with this back then, and would have no problem with it today. You're deliberately trying to paint gamers as anti-women when you fully know the reason why people don't like girl-bosses who demean the main character and shoving DEI into games. You do this because it's obviously wrong to do, so you have to make it seem like something it isn't to try to have any argument at all.

These are the colonizers, the invaders, the interlopers. They invade the hobby, ruin it irrevocably, and like locusts, move on to the next once the IP fails. And they always, always, try to rewrite history as they gaslight you. Get off our lawn.
