This is a bombshell video.
The anti-AI psyop is very well funded and very real.
Since Sabine's video, other tech youtubers have come forward with similar stories.
X also banned a 100,000 strong anti-AI bot network with accounts that were liking and boosting anti-AI sentiment.
AI is a winner take all game of thrones amongst nations. You can bet 100% there is a lot of propaganda out there.

I was wrong.
I said AI was going to have an Internet like pause/bubble (not a permanent pop).
But that was before agentic coding, which in turn has propelled general agent use and increased model capabilities rapidly. Coding only got good enough about Nov of last year and now excels.
The demand for AI tokens is exponentially greater in just 6 months alone. Multiple agents per user, coding being completely replaced.
And costs are plummeting per token. This I expected, but I did not expect it this fast. The only limit is energy, and that's being addressed with interim solutions (gas turbines) and space/solar.
There will be no pause, just unfathomable acceleration.

As an OG Blizzard Dev I've never heard a bigger pile of BS.
We never cared about politics, built an entire industry out of nothing. We were right, central, left.
But what did happen is the Left got radical, and if you were not radical, say middle, you were now deemed Right.
Then Right became a crime in studios, and everyone was pushed out.
The Left doesn't dominate AAA gaming because they have more talent. They Left dominates because they stole it.

Some people have literally gone crazy.
On the left is a head messed up by the game engine’s very limited lighting system, which can’t properly render shadows, skin texture, and the detail of normal maps.
On the right is THE SAME MODEL WITHOUT ANY GEOMETRY CHANGES, which looks exactly like a render from ZBrush—where a 3D artist modeled it—only with better lighting, shadows, skin texture, hair, and therefore DETAILS. Thanks to neural network rendering in DLSS5.

The head models were 3D scanned (using photogrammetry) from real people and then polished by artists.
I am the creative director of the game. This is our original artistic vision and looks like static renders of the models from Zbrush when we made them. Or like real @thisistommckay :)
Having no shadows from helmets on faces and fucked up normal map rendering WAS NOT OUR ORIGINAL ARTISTIC VISION.

This happened to me the other day on my post about DLSS.
Much smaller account got all the views (3M) and downloaded my vid edit and reuploaded it, stole the post contents too. Community Notes did nothing.
Really the algo is terribly broken. What use are followers?

By 50/50 popular I mean a) Many will like it and use it, b) many will pretend to hate it and maybe 1/3rd will really be able to tell it's AI without knowing and never be comfortable with it. So 50% like, 50% all other reasons.

A lot of people fell for this FF 7 Rebirth "NVIDIA DLSS 5" image, widely circulated by the gaming press.
It turns out the real DLSS 5 Neural Rendering looks quite different. See attached.
VGC and Kotaku and PC Gamer ran with this, millions of views, zero verfication.
What's worse is it's baked into AI now, and search engines will tell you it's real because the press used it everywhere.
This comes on the heels of X banning 200,000 bots that were co-ordinating anti-AI sentiment attacks in the US.
The Psy-Op is real and game journalists are easy dupes.

That governments regularly use bots to influence social media.
Or that govs would never stoop to do such things that we know game companies and other big commercial marketing campaigns already do?
If you check the replies of these accounts, they spend all day replying to accounts with a specific message. They rarely do anything else.

This is very true.
Creation and taste become maximally important as the tools become zero cost.
If you can’t create, can’t design products useful and appealing to other humans, and rely on your knowledge and “skill” as your sole value…well, you are gonna have a hard ego bruising.
Become a producer, creator and learn what other humans like, and also, what surprises humans.
AIs are not human, will not be as good at guessing what appeals or surprises humans in novel ways. For a long time this will still be true.

I'll also add that I think they should have stuck with Eve in Stellar Blade.
That's what gamers wanted and everyone loved.
Switching main characters is just never good for a series unless it has a rich world to lean on, and Stellar Blade just isn't that fleshed out or rich as a story. Even if you do have such a world...well, that's like switching out Master Chief in Halo. It's inherently gonna be off putting and make people miss the originals more.
