When an American shipyard like NASSCO is operating at just 40% capacity, it makes no sense to send U.S. Navy auxiliary shipbuilding overseas to Korea or Japan.
If we’re serious about maintaining the most powerful fighting force in the world, then we need to be serious about the industrial base that keeps it afloat.
