Had a great visit with the hardworking men and women at @GDNASSCO and got an up-close look at the incredible shipbuilding capability we have right here at home.
When an American shipyard like NASSCO is operating at just 40% capacity, it makes no sense to send U.S. Navy auxiliary shipbuilding overseas to Korea or Japan.
If we’re serious about maintaining the most powerful fighting force in the world, then we need to be serious about the industrial base that keeps it afloat.
American ships. American workers. American strength. 🇺🇸⚓️
