Lt Gen SL Narasimhan, PVSM, AVSM*, VSM, PhD (Retd), addressed participants of #HDMC_22# at College of Defence Management, Secunderabad #CDM_IDS# on the changing nature of modern conflict.
He brought out how rival powers now operate in the space between peace and war — using pressure tactics that fall short of open conflict, but still achieve strategic gains.
His message to the officers was that doctrines must evolve and Military leaders need to anticipate these threats early, and build responses across multiple domains, tailored to India's security context.
