Hyperliquid Turns $USDC Yield Into hyperliquid:native Deflation Starting today, @HyperliquidX begins accruing revenue from USDC reserves through AQAv2. The key mechanism: • Stablecoin reserve revenue is shared with Hyperliquid • Around 90% of reserve revenue after operating costs can flow to the protocol • Revenue accumulates every 30 days • Funds are sent to the Assistance Fund (AF) • AF uses them to buy HYPE from the market • Bought HYPE is then burned permanently The first earnings start Aug. 26, with the first actual payment expected on Oct. 3. And the potential is huge. Based on current USDC supply and reserve yields, market estimates suggest this could generate roughly $135M-$160M in annualized revenue for hyperliquid:native buybacks. That is NOT an official Hyperliquid forecast, and the actual amount will depend on USDC deposits and reserve yields. More USDC liquidity → more reserve revenue → more HYPE bought → more HYPE burned.
