In my opinion, Pedri is more important for Barça than Vitinha is for Paris. Change my mind!
Gordon or Rashford? Who should we have gone for? I watch ALL of Barca’s matches and Rashford has been really good — a fantastic loan. BUT, he doesn’t work without the ball. He came in as backup to Raphinha, and in my opinion Raphinha’s biggest strength is his willingness to run, his ability to press for the full match, and his constant movement into the right areas. Rashford didn’t do any of that particularly well. With the way Barca play, it’s almost impossible for an attacking player not to deliver points.
This season we already have 7 players with 20+ G/A. If you think Gordon couldn’t do that at Barca, then you clearly haven’t watched us play over the last two years.

I don't know if it's a hot take, but in my opinion Mbappé is not and will not be in the same conversation as Messi, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and even Neymar. I'm 24 so I can't compare him to the likes of R9, Maradona, Pelé, Zidane. But all of the players I named make their teammates better or make them win. I don't care how many goals Mbappé scores or how many individual records he breaks; he will never be considered a GOAT.

I don't understand why so many people are so reactionary. Yes, Spain drew against Cape Verde and played badly. In the last World Cup, Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia, and in 2010 Spain lost their first game. I think they will improve game by game. Today was a bad day without the best player in the world.
