We had nowhere close to the highest mortality rate from Covid of any country in the world. Eastern European countries, which had crappy vaccination rates, had far higher mortality rates than we did.

One of the amazing things about these clips is that the people talking to Musk never say, "In 2015, you said that we were a month away from self-driving cars, and that full autonomy was three years away. In 2016, you said, etc. etc. Why should anyone believe your forecasts now?"
