The fee you see isn’t always the amount you actually lose. That’s something I’ve been paying more attention to when looking at payment options for cross-border payments. So I compared @allscaleio with a few services people already use. AllScale Checkout says it charges a flat 0.6% fee, and payments settle in USDT directly to your wallet. Then there’s PayPal. For international payments, the fees can add up once you include the international surcharge and currency conversion. Wise is different because it’s built for international transfers, not checkout. The cost depends on the currencies involved, and many transfers arrive quickly, but the fee still varies from one payment to another. Bank wires are another option, but they can be expensive. Between transfer charges and exchange rate markups, sending $1,000 can cost much more than most people expect, and it can still take a few business days. Looking at them side by side made one thing clear to me. If you receive cross-border payments often, even small differences in fees can add up over time. That’s one reason AllScale caught my attention. A flat 0.6% fee is simple to understand, and knowing what you’re paying matters just as much as how fast the money arrives.
