Last night, I joined a bipartisan majority of the House to pass the Ratepayer Protection Act to ensure anyone building large data centers is responsible for the electricity and infrastructure needed to power them.

PASSED: Today, the House Appropriations Committee passed my FY27 Defense Appropriations bill which fulfills our commitment to keep America safe and ensure the U.S. military remains the strongest fighting force in the world.

I agree with @SecWar: "If America loses our unquestioned military edge, no amount of fiscal austerity can maintain this nation's economic health."
Tomorrow, @HouseAppropsGOP will markup my FY27 Defense Appropriations bill which prioritizes our troops and supports their quality of life by providing a significant pay raise.
