🎒 PACKING FOR A PURPOSE Every student deserves to begin the school year feeling prepared and ready to succeed. If we can ease some of the stress for students and their families, we are proud to do our part—because we firmly believe an educated community is a safer community. Team members from all 10 LVMPD area commands joined the @LVMPDFoundation, community partners and volunteers at Walmart on North Nellis Boulevard to pack more than 1,200 backpacks. These backpacks will be distributed throughout the valley to some very deserving families. Providing students with the supplies they need is an investment in their success, confidence and growth—and there is no better way to make that happen than by working together as a community and having a little fun along the way! Thank you to everyone who helped pack and distribute backpacks, prepare our young people for a great school year and demonstrate what we can accomplish as one strong community. 💙
