He is a disciplined, competitive, respectful athlete who happens to be eight feet tall and convinced he is playing for one of the greatest titles in sports. The production treats him that way: broadcast coverage, booth analysis, crowd noise, championship tension, all pointed at putt-putt. Then the joke flips.
