One of the best things about cats is that you can annoy them a little without it becoming a whole thing, because being mildly irritating to each other is apparently part of cat friendship culture.
Bothering™ is basically a love language.
Watch two cats who genuinely like each other, and you’ll see them constantly engaging in various Bothering Activities™.
They’ll pester each other, get in each other’s way, and start little fights for absolutely no reason.
And somehow, that’s friendship.

Here's How to Initiate Deep Conversations With Your Avoidant Partner… & Finally Feel Truly Connected
Every time you try to have a deeper conversation, they shut down, get defensive, or change the subject.

When an avoidant says "you're overthinking," what they often mean is "please stop noticing what I'm not saying." 1/8

Not when you flood their phone.
Not when you show up where they are.
Not when you post something hoping they'll see it. Not when you pretend you're totally fine and over it. Everyone thinks going silent is what
triggers the realization.

Men. You need to come to the understanding that you are only loved as long as you provide value. As soon as they get bored they will leave and you also need to be prepared for that. I wish you the best.

My son and his wife sat down for their daughter's kindergarten conference. She's five. Loves dinosaurs and hates shoes. The teacher pulled out a folder.
She told them their daughter was showing "early signs of perfectionism-related anxiety" because she erased her drawing three times before she was satisfied with it.
My son's wife is a nurse. She didn't say anything. My son is his father's child, so he asked, calmly, what the drawing was of.
The teacher said, "A horse."
He said, "She erased it three times trying to get a horse right?"
The teacher said yes.
He said, "And that's the problem."
She said, "It's a pattern we like to flag early."
He called me that night trying to find the sentence that made sense of it. I told him I didn't have it. I spent thirty years managing people and I always wanted the ones who erased something three times trying to get a horse right.
I'm not diagnosing anything. I'm sure the teacher cares. But maybe flag the kids who don't try again. Just a thought.

Now you can spend three weeks interviewing for a job that pays $15 an hour and still receive an automated rejection email.
