For all the things that divide us, grief is a universal language and a defining part of the human experience. At some point, every one of us will love someone we have to say an earthly goodbye to. I am still learning how to walk through each day carrying the grief I feel for my Charlie. Some days I have a vague understanding of God’s plan, others I don’t, but I trust Him completely. He is my only strength. I also know grief can be lonely, and sometimes hearing someone else put words to it makes us feel a little less alone. I wrote this for anyone who has lost someone they love, anyone sitting in grief now, and anyone who someday will. Suffering does not get the final word. Only God does. My reflections on grief, one year later:

Karoline is the youngest White House Press Secretary in American history and she brought tenacity, grace, and the joy of the Lord when she walked into that briefing room every day. She showed millions of young Americans what strong leadership looks like and I am so proud of her. Family always comes first. There is wisdom and strength in knowing what season God is calling you into and having the courage to follow it. Karoline, thank you for your service to @POTUS and our country, and for being such a powerful example to the young people watching you. Your family is blessed to have you and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for you next. ❤️

JUST IN: Vice President Vance speaks on the tragic loss of his personal friend Charlie Kirk, calling his assassination an "unacceptable" tragedy that should outrage every American. "Charlie was a very, very dear friend. But more importantly than that, Charlie was a father of two beautiful kids, and he did not deserve to have all of those moments with his kids, all of those moments with his beautiful wife taken from them in the way that that happened." "I would expect everybody, everybody with a heart or a conscience would say whatever we agreed or disagreed with about his particular viewpoints. This is a tragedy, and it's totally unacceptable that it happens in the United States of America."

Democrats claim to champion women’s rights, yet they allow men to infiltrate women’s spaces under the guise of identity politics. Then they gaslight anyone who questions it and smear women as “transphobic” for defending basic reality. The hypocrisy is astounding. God created men and women intentionally and in His image, each with a unique design and purpose. A society that can no longer recognize or honor that truth is not just losing fairness in sports, it is losing its understanding of God’s creation and, with it, its humanity.

That photo is one of my many favorite memories with my husband. It was taken the day I graduated from Liberty University with my Juris Master degree, while he received an honorary doctorate and spoke at my commencement ceremony. Thank you for honoring my Charlie. Congratulations to the Class of 2026. I pray these words from my husband inspire you onward.

Yesterday we celebrated our son’s 1st birthday! He has brought an infinite amount of joy and laughter into our lives. Being a parent is an incredible gift, made far better because I get to do it alongside @MrsErikaKirk. “Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6.

May 14, 2024 7:47AM daddy was the first to hold you. Together, we spoke over you all the prayers and blessings for your future. I can’t help but rewatch these videos, endlessly, and I know as you grow up, you’ll be the same way. There’s moments I wish I could step back into…especially the moments of your “firsts” that daddy was alive to witness. You’re forever our little love. Our little peacemaker. It’ll be the honor of my life to witness you becoming a trailblazer for the truth, for goodness, for patience, for joy, and for faithfulness, with the presence of the Holy Spirt and all the angels in Heaven, including Daddy, cheering you on. Happy 2nd Birthday sweet boy. You heal my broken heart in ways I’ll never be able to articulate.

Even though our kids won’t see our love “grow old together” from an earthly stand point; they’ll see it from a Heavenly one. And I’ll tell them of our love story any moment I can. Happy Anniversary to the love of my life.

Today marks 4 years of being married to @MrsErikaKirk. Second to following Jesus, it's the best decision I've ever made. She is bold, smart, loyal, and beautiful. Happy anniversary, Erika. I love you.

Congratulations to @NateMorris on his new role in the Trump administration as an ambassador! I pray that Nate’s desire for unity inspires others in the Senate to do the same and unite to finally pass the SAVE AMERICA Act. We have to protect the integrity of our elections if we want to have a country for our children. Do what is right for America by representing the interests of your voters, and pass the bill that over 80% of Americans support!

Thank you, @JDVance , for graciously hosting 20 TPUSA Iowa students in our nation’s capital. In lieu of the Iowa State event being postponed, we were grateful for the opportunity to send students to not only visit Washington, D.C., but also to meet with the Vice President. This reminds me why Charlie started TPUSA in the first place: to promote American values and instill them into our future generation of leaders.

Many of the left-wing journalists that attended the WHCD have spent years consistently calling President Trump a “Nazi”, a “threat to democracy”, and “Hitler”, yet they still joyfully attended the evening’s event…. If they truly believed their own rhetoric, they’re either joyfully willing to have dinner with “Hitler” or they’re lying to radicalize American citizens with narratives they know are grossly exaggerated. Either way, it exposes their game of ultimate hypocrisy: manufacture the hate and then profit off the results; even if it costs someone their life.
