First copy Kimi and now copy Open Router?
Introducing Cursor Router, our intelligent model router that selects the right model for the task at hand. Router delivers frontier-quality results at 60% lower cost.
Spot on. The core competency of SpaceX was never frontier model capabilities but computer power.
Elon’s original vision of an open, American AI was right. He could still flip Grok to open source which could be checkmate. Why? If you flip Grok open source, you necessarily move all margins out of the model layer and down into the infrastructure (chips + CSPs) and above to apps. He owns a massive data center build, owns next gen inference AI and owns the most used app (Cursor). So arguably he would make *more* margin by doing this. Then moving the DCs to space makes even more sense.

Exactly why I have a negative impression of Chinese Americans. Way worse than those in other countries. Full of bullshit and just using anti-xxx as a tool to advance their own careers.

This is one of the top reasons my mom loves Trump — he understands the dangers of Communism. She’s witnessed those dangers firsthand. Her grandparents owned a store in China, and died of starvation when the Communists took over. It must never take hold in America.

That means hyperscalers and neoclouds matter more than model companies. Computation is the ultimate competitive advantage.
American and European enterprises will ditch OpenAI and anthropic and adopt Chinese models. Here’s why: 1. They can host Chinese models under their own GPUs so it’s still compliant and they would argue they have more control. 2. they will post train with their own data on top of Chinese models. That’s how they build data moat. 3. They will not trust anthropic who will retain their data at any time for “safety” concerns like how they did with Fable and then try to build the same thing like how anthropic did with healthcare and legal. 4. They need to justify their AI spend and ROI. The cure is a reliable America open source model but there is none. After all, if giving away all your data and AI control at the mercy of anthropic and OpenAI means you care about safety and compliance, you are outright stupid.

There is no way xAI can compete with front tier models. Instead SpaceX should return xAI to Tesla and focus on building computation power. There will be more synergy between xAI and Tesla, e.g. Grok+FSD, Grok+Optimus, etc. @elonmusk @Tesla @xai

Use the official @MongoDB plugin in Grok Build to query data, optimize indexes, and manage databases.
Simple! The US should first lift all the restrictions it poses on China such as equipment like EUV and other entity list. Otherwise do not complain.
Reuters: U.S. officials have visited China multiple times and urged the Chinese side to resolve the InP export controls, but China is still causing delays in export approvals. As a result, U.S. photonic chip manufacturers that need InP are facing difficulties. However, China does not appear to be particularly favoring domestic Chinese companies over U.S. companies operating in China. China wants to maintain the bottleneck the U.S. is facing in InP, so most Chinese domestic InP producers are focusing on the domestic market. Chinese InP manufacturers such as Yunnan Germanium and Guangdong Xiandao are both in talks with Chinese authorities to secure export approvals, but even if approvals are granted, overseas shipments are likely to remain limited.

The real Deepseek moment won’t happen until the end of this year, though.

Tesla and BYD are both great companies, no doubt. But you should compare Tesla to Google, or Nvidia — not BYD, which is really just a car company. Tesla is valued by the market as a high-tech robotics company, and that's why its stock commands a premium.

So let me get this straight... A new Tesla can effectively drive itself anywhere in North America (supervised), something no other company here is even CLOSE to rivaling right now... But that's not noteworthy? In fact, you regularly discredit FSD. But BYD shows... whatever THIS is, and you're suddenly in awe of how great the company is. It's disappointing that a dislike for Elon leads to turning a blind eye to all of the incredible work the men and women have done at Tesla. very weird Zack... also congrats on notawheelchair, genuinely very cool.

Cloud business is the driving force behind google's strong Q1 2026 earnings. Millions of Teslas equipped with AI5 as decentralized AI server should have been able to provide AI inference service. @elonmusk @Tesla @Tesla_AI #AI# #Tesla# #Cloud# #Inference#

How is this not possible? One AI powered engineer is supposed to do the work that >10 sw engineers used to do. One SW engineer costs at least 200K$/year. Is not AI subscription far lower than this?
ummm so tokenmaxxing didn't increase operating margins?!?!? of course it didn't. its just that the cto of uber had the courage to say the quiet part out loud.
