Part of the reason why I love a lot of base OG coins is they’re either actual memes (Chad, keycat, Dickbutt, All your base), they have great art (doginme, toshi), and/or they earned my respect with grit, resilience and work ethic (Bario, cat town).
Base has fantastic memes, I hope I can get that message across to people while contributing to culture in my own way.
The number one criticism I’ve heard from people who won’t bridge is exactly what you’ve described, they do not want to buy coins that are about coinbase execs or their pets, but that’s long been an emphasis unfortunately.
