LOL. Remember Trump promising Americans a “tariff dividend”?
NY Fed researchers estimate tariffs added 2.9 percentage points to inflation in the goods they studied by February 2026.
Without those tariffs, prices for that basket would have FALLEN.
So you pay more at checkout, then get promised a check funded by those same tariffs.
What a fucking deal.
