Automating AI research is going to look a lot more like data cleaning than it is going to look like inventing the transformer

every ~3 months, you need to increase your level of ambition in the AI era, else you forfeit the capability overhang of the models to your competitors
it’s surprising to me how many people seem to not understand that great models are built with super high quality curated data
finding novel ways to create / get this data is a huge edge
what a privilege it is to feel the texture of progress as we keep pushing
