we got payments to 99% automation at @deel but that last 1% haunted us for years. until @get_akai.
running payments at Deel means building bank connectivity, handling clearing rails and orchestrating settlement across 100+ countries/currencies.
but some local banks had no API. no SFTP. sometimes barely anyone technical to talk to.
so that last 1% still meant humans clicking through ancient bank portals. then Akai changed the game.
it watched the human workflow, learned the bank UI, pulled the right data from the db, executed the payment, reconciled it, then dropped the result in Slack - under a day.
something we couldn’t crack for years, and barely made economic sense to automate @get_akai figured it out in a day.
