Jeff is a Distinguished Technologist at HPE Labs and serves as an OCP Project Lead. While relatively new to formal volunteer leadership within OCP, he has been a longtime advocate for open collaboration and serves as President & SPDM co-chair within DMTF, as well as prior chair experience in InfiniBand and RDMA, bringing extensive industry consortium experience to the community. How long have you been involved with OCP? Jeff has been engaged with OCP for nearly a decade, contributing to hardware management and security, and has served as a Project Lead for the past year. Why do you volunteer your time to OCP? Jeff believes OCP is unmatched in both its industry impact and breadth of participation. He sees OCP as a critical force shaping the future of hardware, firmware, and security across the technology ecosystem. What impact has OCP had on you professionally? Beyond networking, Jeff values the genuine relationships built through OCP. The community provides opportunities to collaborate with industry leaders, customers, and suppliers in a way that accelerates both innovation and learning. What are you most excited about right now? Jeff sees today’s AI revolution as comparable to the early days of personal computing. He is excited about the rapid pace of innovation and the opportunities it presents for the entire industry. Something people may not know about you? Jeff enjoys working remotely from the water and says there is nothing better than spending rush hour on a boat rather than in traffic.
