People's Daily, China(@PDChina):A container ship departed Qingdao Port in east China's Shandong Province for Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, on Wednesday after loading more than 1,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of cargo, including home appliances and tires. Since the beginning of this year, Qingdao Port has added 16 new container shipping routes, extending its global network to nearly 240 routes connecting more than 700 ports worldwide.
