According to Birbhum SP Vidit Rai Bhundesh, the recovered cash and gold are linked to the proceeds of an organised crime syndicate allegedly operated by Tulu Mondal, his relative Minar Mondal, and others.

According to police, none of the arrested individuals are students. Investigators claim all 11 were present at the rally, where they took part in vandalism and assaulted media personnel covering the protest.
Among those arrested are Irfan Khurshed, Arshad Ali alias Sajid, Md. Moinuddin, Md. Alamgir alias Raju, Imran Ahmed alias Gopi, Khalid Reja alias Rinku, Zamir Ahmed alias Minku, Mohsin Khan, Dipak Bhowmick alias Vicky, Md. Azad and Md. Afroz.
Police said Md. Azad and Md. Afroz were apprehended near Andal on the Durgapur Expressway while they were allegedly attempting to flee the state.

For your kind information, another female journalist from your organisation, Samarpita Banerjee (@ttindia), was also brutally assaulted while covering the protest. She was hit with a lathi, had a sandal thrown at her, was heckled, abused, and harassed by the very same group.
So, by your logic, is she also “Godi Media”? and was victim of “Janorosh”??
Do you even know her? I doubt it. Your profile says you cover entertainment, not ground reporting from volatile or any harsh situations.

Five minors have been detained for the brutal murder of a 17-year-old boy in West Bengal’s Baruipur. According to police sources, the victim and the accused had an ongoing dispute over a football match. On Monday night, the accused allegedly lured the teenager out on the pretext of resolving the issue before stabbing him to death. Police have detained all five juveniles and further investigation is underway.
