we get a lot of questions on what actually separates @CadeMarket from Kalshi / Polymarket. it comes down to short duration. a platform for the ~I want my dopamine now and I want to go again~ crowd. they’ll know exactly where to get it without running into noise. TikTok didn't beat YouTube by adding long videos in addition to short form. focus can be insanely valuable in the era where everyone is trying to be everything.

Meme Madness has lived up to its name for the development team: absolute madness. We’ve supported thousands of users and hundreds of thousands of predictions across a complex system of daily tournaments and multiple chains, all while continuing to ship improvements to production. We launched on brand new infrastructure built for scale and performance. That’s come with growing pains, and this tournament has been an incredible pressure test. It's been effective in showing us what’s working, where we’re falling short, and what needs to improve. I’m proud of what the team has delivered and the scale we’ve supported, but we know there’s work to do. We just started to distribute prizes for Meme Madness directly to the @CadeMarket wallets of winners. Throughout the first 4 days of the tournament, we automatically flagged several dozen users that were engaging in malicious multi-account practices to inflate their daily profit numbers. This is strictly against the rules, which you implicitly agree to follow when registering for an account on Cade. We aren't stupid. We know that the prize pool for Meme Madness is very large. We knew that this would bring bad actors that were in it for the wrong reasons. We initially delayed the launch in order to make sure we could properly catch these users with our systems. Contrary to many testnet apps in this space, I could not give a single fuck about juiced up numbers. I care about the integrity of the platform, and I am only interested in rewarding users that help us stress test our infrastructure and product in a fair manner. If you try and cheat, we will catch you, and we will revoke your prize. RIP BOZOS.

Prizes for Day 0 of Meme Madness have been distributed directly to your Cade wallet. This was the half day in which only some users were able to participate early on. Due to third party outages, we have opted to not enable direct transfers off the platform until we do further testing. However, on your profile page, you can export your platform private key (after enabling 2FA) to a browser wallet to freely access your funds. The next 3 days of prize winners can all expect to receive their winnings tomorrow. Furthermore, for days 0-3, we flagged several dozen wallets on the leaderboard that were participating in malicious multi-wallet practices to inflate their TVL. Every single one of these users has been voided and their prize has been revoked. Each cheating user was replaced with the next eligible user. Cade on.

I have a feeling throwing a dollar into every market and hoping for the hail mary is going to be a popular strategy when @CadeMarket hits mainnet. Obviously this is inflated with testnet money but... The beauty of parimutuel.

We've put in a lot of time and effort to the UX of the site to make it feel materially different than other trading terminals and prediction markets, because we're materially different in how everything operates. We're continuing to iterate based on our own play and feedback we're seeing - which was the point of this test and free tournament.
