At least 300 Palestinian children have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza during the 300 days since the ceasefire was announced in October 2025, according to UNICEF. The figure means that, on average, one Palestinian child has been killed every day during a period that was supposed to bring an end to the violence. The deaths add to the overall toll of Israel’s war on Gaza, which has surpassed 73,000 Palestinians killed since October 2023.

I swear to you, the impact of the war we have lived through and continue to live through every single day is far greater than you can imagine. It has not only affected our mental health and our lives, but it has also destroyed the way we look. There is a picture of us before the war and a picture of us after the war. Although perhaps I should not even say “after the war,” because the war has not ended, and because this Israeli government does not seem to want to end it until all of us in Gaza are dead. For the first time in human history, I feel like I am witnessing a war whose goal is not control, politics, or a military objective. Its goal is simply death .. death itself. This Israeli government feeds on our blood. It seems that the more Palestinians someone kills, the higher their position becomes within the Israeli government.
