HERO OF THE IRON DOME "Aviya Genut, 22, from Tzufim, was murdered by Hamas terrorists at the Supernova music festival on #October7#. During her mandatory army service, she served as an instructor on the Iron Dome battery, and after she finished, she worked as a waitress to save up money for a trip. Her aunt, Yael, was just a few years older than Aviya and the pair would call each other “half,” as shorthand for “my other half.” “A ray of sunshine in the body of a person,” she wrote on Instagram. “You would connect to other people within seconds, you drew people together, you were so alive, dancing with happiness, your presence was so felt. It was impossible to miss you when you entered a room… I will always remember your huge smile and your joy. My heart is burning. Now I have been left just a half.” Her paternal grandmother, Noga, wrote on Facebook a day before her funeral to “my Aviya, beloved, diligent, with a lust for life… How will we say goodbye to you? How will we not see you anymore? We received a gift for 22.6 years, and tomorrow we will give it back. Tomorrow, God will heal your wounds, and we will cry and cry, and we will die from the sadness and pain.” At her funeral, her mother, Yifat, noted that she was born right before Pesach, and killed on Simhat Torah: “We always said that you had a lofty soul,” she said, pointing out that they learned of her death on Shabbat Bereishit, the Shabbat where they read the first book of the Torah, but “we don’t want to start from the beginning [Bereishit] without you." SHE HAD JUST CELEBRATED HER BIRTHDAY; THE MEN OF GAZA TOOK HER LIFE WITH NO MERCY "Bruna Valeanu, 24, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, relocated to Israel in 2014. While attending the Supernova Music Festival near Re’im on October 7, she was among the 260 victims when the party was assaulted by Hamas terrorists. It took three agonizing days before her remains were discovered. The young woman last communicated with her family on the day of the attack, at approximately 9 am. In her message, she described hearing gunshots and witnessing the aftermath with fallen individuals around her. She had celebrated her 24th birthday just days before on September 26." Bruna did not have family in Israel, so it was not clear who would come to her funeral. After the information about her funeral was posted, 10,000 people showed up to pay their last respects." HIS FAMILY CAME FROM GAZA; 3 GAZAN MEN TOOK HIS LIFE WITH UTMOST CRUELTY Amir Tanbura's father, Mustafa, was a Muslim from Gaza who moved to Israel 30 years ago. Amir's mother, Mahdia, is an Israeli Muslim woman. They raised their 6 children in the city of Sderot, speaking Hebrew and being part of Israeli society. On October 7, Amir left home to buy cigarettes. Along the way, he saw a wounded Jewish man and stopped to help the bleeding man. Three terr0rists from Gaza chased Amir and shot him to de@th. Amir's b0dy was found with multiple bullet wounds. Horrifyingly, Amir's family discovered what had happened after seeing a video of Amir lying wounded in the street. His family says they will never forgive the people of Gaza for what they have done to their son. May his memory be a blessing.

SHE WAS MURDERED INSIDE HER KINDERGARTEN Maya Goren, 56, was a beloved kindergarten teacher at Kibbutz Nir Oz; one of her students was Ariel Bibas. On the morning of October 7, Maya went to set up her classroom. When Hamas terrorists invaded, they came to the kindergarten and murdered her inside her own classroom. Gaza's men then kidnapped her remains and kept them in Gaza to torment her 4 children and family. Maya's remains were recovered on July 25, 2024. Maya's husband, Avner, 56, was at their home. Hamas terrorists broke into the house and murdered him after he fought until his last breath. They both spoke with their daughter Dekel, who lived on the kibbutz, and warned her not to leave the safe room. Maya and Avner dedicated their lives to raising children with love. THE MEN OF GAZA TOOK THEIR LIVES WITH NO MERCY Lin Dafni, 23, from Kibbutz Ein HaMifratz, and Ziv Frankel, 22, from Kiryat Motzkin, had been best friends since first grade. They did everything together since they were little girls. On October 6th, they went together to the Nova music festival with their close friend Moria Raviv, 23, from Kiryat Motzkin, who was celebrating her birthday. When the massacre began, Ziv managed to contact her father. She told him there were rockets, but that she was okay. Later, using Lin's phone, she sent her mother her final message: "Mom, we are in a terror attack. I love you." The three young women were murdered by the men of Gaza, who showed no mercy for these innocent women. They have all been buried side by side. May their memories be a blessing.
