The ability to write prose and code was a kind of currency. Now it's been inflated away.
A sliver of light in the darkness.

I would crush BIP-110 like a bug.
THE CREATOR OF ORDINALS SAYS BIP-110 IS DOOMED Casey @Rodarmor and @realizingerin dive into the history and drama behind BIP-110, Bitcoin's controversial anti-spam filter proposal. This episode covers the origins of Bitcoin's spam debate, @LukeDashjr's decade-long anti-spam crusade, the rise of Ordinals, Inscriptions, and Runes, the Bitcoin Core vs. Bitcoin Knots conflict, and a full technical breakdown of what BIP-110 actually does — and why it's doomed to fail. It's crazy to me that lightning isn't more popular. The dollar is an inflationary melting ice cube, credit card fees often exceed net profit margins, seller-side payment finality is abysmal on nearly all fronts, and financial censorship is rampant. Networks effects are brutal.

guys stop bear-market doom-gooning and get in here
Reminder, Bitcoin Show & Tell on Sunday! It should be packed with interesting stuff.
This Sunday, @rodarmor and I are hosting Bitcoin Show & Tell, a Twitter space for everyone who hasn't let the bear market deter them from building on bitcoin. The goal is simple: highlight the interesting work that is often obscured by market noise and daily outrage cycle de-jour. Builders get 5–10 minutes to share what they're working on and answer questions from the audience. We’d love to hear from people working on: • TemplateHash or script restoration • ZKP verifier proposals • Shielded CSV • RGB and stablecoins on Bitcoin • Ark and Second • Fedimint, Cashu, and ecash • Liquid and Simplicity • KYC-free exchanges • post-quantum security • Lightning wallets • Payjoin, CoinJoin, CISA/PISA, and other privacy protocols • self custody • circular economies and real-world Bitcoin payments Especially: @idealgroup @stevenroose3 @darosior @theinstagibbs @lightcoin @RGB_Hub @ArkLabsHQ @secondhq @fedibtc @CashuBTC @hodlhodl @bisq_network @vexl @n1ckler @PhoenixWallet @BlitzWalletApp @getAlby @BULLBITCOIN_ @payjoindevkit @lxdev_ @cakewallet @Bitcoinbeach @BitcoinJungleCR @BitcoinBerlinSV @BTCisla @btcmap @fjahr @GBKS @craigraw @KLoaec @nvk @1440000bytes @Square @milessuter @dntse @bitrefill @citrea_xyz @FairGateLabs @DFX_Swiss @alloc_init_ @char_btc @blksresearch @SuperTestnet @umbrel @evoskuil @afilini @lexeapp @Bitsurance_ @nadanada_me And everyone else we couldn’t squeeze into Twitter’s 50-mention limit. Honestly, mad respect to anyone who mines a full-difficulty BIP-110 block on the minority chain during the mandatory signaling period. It's still super-duper doomed, but at least you're putting your money where your mouth is. Any guesses for how many such blocks will be mined?

I don't often tweet about BIP-110 because it has always been a comedically moronic project that is doomed to failure. The degree to which it won't work is fractal-like. You can zoom in to the details or zoom out to the big picture and conclude that it won't work.

Astrologer stunned as Bitcoin developer delivers flawless interpretation of 2026 minor grand trine.

I suspect we are in an awk golden age. Agents reach for it all the time: It's everywhere and they don't care how weird the syntax is.
I was working on the promised turbo flag feature, and landed on P2P rune gambling. But it's impractical to restrict it to turbo-flag runes only. Should I turn it on for all runes? 🧵

Nature is healing ❤️
This was a fun one. The stars are saying that bitcoiners need to get back to basics and remember why we’re here in the first place; to separate money from the state and central banks.
Inscriptions now have social media image previews and it only took three and a half years 😅
