For the past 50 years, SLF has been proud to stand with those brave enough to fight back against systems that are looking to violate their constitutional rights. Jackson saw that his and his fellow students’ freedom of speech was being violated by his own school and made the brave decision to fight back. We are proud to help Jackson hold the University of Minnesota accountable and to protect the constitutional rights of college students across the country.

For 50 years, SLF has stood with people like Jan. When her special needs daughter was forced to choose between sharing a girls’ restroom with a biological boy or not using one at all, Jan spoke up. We joined her in the fight, filing a Title IX complaint to protect the rights of girls, and the Department of Education responded by launching an investigation. 50 years of standing up. And we’re not stopping now!
