Yesterday evening, while patrolling the JVL, #SLMPD# District 4 officers attempted to stop a vehicle that had expired plates. The male passenger immediately fled from the vehicle on foot, but officers and ATF agents were able to catch up and take him into custody. The man was found to be in possession of a stolen gun and suspected narcotics.
