Yomarie was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer after nearly eight years trying to determine the cause of her symptoms: “As a mother, veteran, and professional, I had to keep showing up for my family while navigating surgeries, recovery, and uncertainty. I got through it by refusing to give up, educating myself, trusting my instincts, and advocating for my own health every step of the way.” 💛
