As I read this from @infantrydort I was reminded of (King) Arthur's final lines to Vortigern in the movie King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017). Vortigern was Arthur's Evil Uncle and he had killed Arthur's parents and sent him into hiding as a young child. Forced to live in a brothel (with prostitutes who took him in) and grow up on the streets of Camelot he became much stronger then he ever would have living as a prince inside the castle. Arthur, looking at Vortigern lying wounded on the ground: "You wanted to know what gave me such drive? It was you. You put me in that brothel. You cut me on the streets. I am here now because of you. You created me. And for that, I bless you. You make sense of the devil." That final line..."You make sense of the Devil" continues to live in my head. Hard Times Create Strong Men
