Through longstanding partnerships with Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, and Portugal, the United States can call on trusted allies when additional firefighting capacity is needed. Since the end of July, a 15-member Incident Management Team and 59 fire management personnel from Australia and New Zealand are on the ground supporting large fires across the Northwest.
