According to
@SECPaulSAtkins, more than 400 IPOs raised over $180 billion in the last four quarters, four times the amount raised over the previous four quarters. Still, the U.S. has 40% fewer public companies than it did 30 years ago.
The rebound is encouraging, but rebuilding public markets requires more than a strong period for IPOs. It means creating better ways for companies to go public and for investors to participate in their growth.
Tokenized IPOs could be one of those paths, allowing companies to issue shares and administer ownership onchain from day one.
