Tonight, an overwhelming majority of my Senate colleagues and I advanced sanctions legislation at a critical juncture in this war: where Russia is the weakest it’s been in years.
The time is now to honor Senator Lindsey Graham’s legacy by giving President Trump the economic firepower he needs to end Putin’s war of aggression and hold Tehran accountable for fueling 47 years of terrorism across the globe.

As I have always stated, I will stay in Washington and work as long as it takes to get the job done.
Right now, our work is getting the SAVE America Act passed, the Russia-Iran Sanctions bill passed, confirming President Trump’s nominees, and preventing another Democratic shutdown before the August state work period.
Our job is to work for the people who sent us here and deliver results. End of story.

@SenKatieBritt (R-Montgomery) says she is prepared to work through the Senate’s August recess “as long as it takes” to complete several major Republican priorities.
The commitment comes after President Donald Trump called on Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) to keep senators in Washington until they pass the SAVE America Act or eliminate the legislative filibuster.
@SenTuberville (R-Auburn) separately endorsed both canceling the recess and ending the filibuster.
“The Senate has done NOTHING to deserve a five-week break,” Tuberville wrote in a social media post, citing military funding, the possibility of a government shutdown and election-security legislation.
