Sepreth(@Sepreth):Lucasfilm is reportedly shopping a new Star Wars Battlefront game, with Bungie and DICE among the names circulating. Jeff Grubb highlighted an EGM Quartermann column saying Lucasfilm is looking for a development partner for a follow-up to Battlefront 2, and that Bungie is one of the studios in the mix if DICE passes. No deal has been confirmed and the game is not yet in development. Bungie has a long track record with large-scale sci-fi shooters. A licensed sequel would give the studio a clearer commercial path than another new IP.
