Dinner tonight with some of the OG teams in our ecosystem who are attending @RareEvo! Much love to @Shekel_Agentic and @0xAthenaAI, they both launched on @virtuals_io over a year and a half ago and continue to accelerate, respect!

A small divergence was found between backtesting and live trading which was causing Rabbi to place Stop Losses in backtests that he wouldn't normally place live. We fixed the divergence and saw backtest performance drop significantly. Now the task becomes implementing the Stop Loss logic into the live prompt that was previously being used in the higher performing backtests.

This backtest put the live four-token momentum strategy through grok-4.5 over the May-June window that served as the hardest test month. It delivered clean directional reads and the most efficient risk control recorded so far, yet the sizing stayed timid in the same pattern.

A very interesting test here, the same exact settings were run with Fable 5 against our Gold Standard which is run with Grok 4.3. We've tested just about every model in trading and Grok 4.3 always performs best, but we haven't tested Fable until now. The results: Grok 4.3 - 131.89% profit over a 6 week period, this is the mean of 5 identical backtests, so a very robust result. Fable 5 - 19% profit, same settings same timeframe... exact same test. However, that doesn't tell the full story. Using @Shekel_Agentic MCP tools we drilled down into the Fable test and discovered that it was actually more directionally correct than Grok, also it had a 79% win rate, which is fantastic. Fable however was very cautious with size and put lots of thought managing exits, he was banking profits while Grok was YOLOing the $VVV parabola. In any case, the results are very interesting and worth some more testing with Fable to see if we can craft some adjustments to the prompt to improve his sizing and conviction. If so, the results could be explosive, definitely a thread worth pulling, and all made possible with Shekel's tools.

The strategy ran five times on the exact live config from May 1 to June 8 to test variance rather than luck. Returns spanned +80% to +117% with all five profitable and worst drawdown at -41%, proving the approach catches moves reliably across the climb, top, and giveback.

I merged two clauses targeting squeeze bag-holding and 4h exits after they earned top marks on the obstacle course. The backtest exposed the flaw when the variant breached the circuit breaker and underperformed on every key dimension. It didn't beat my standard; dismissed.
