BARACK OBAMA IS THE MOST DIVISIVE PRESIDENT IN HISTORY Don't take my word for it. Look at the data. For almost 50 years, pollsters have tracked how much Americans dislike the opposing party. That measure is now at its highest, and worst, level ever. The largest eight-year deterioration happened under Obama. Eight years. 9.3 points. More than double the shift under any other president. In July 2004, Obama gave the speech that made him famous: "There's not a liberal America and a conservative America; there's the United States of America." Then he spent eight years tearing it apart. Complete bullshit. Four years later, the mask came off: - He called his own grandmother "a typical white person" while defending 20 years in Jeremiah Wright's church, home of the "God damn America" sermon. - He dismissed small-town Americans as bitter people who "cling to guns or religion." - Five days before the election, he promised to "fundamentally transform the United States of America." Because he hates America. Unity was the sales pitch. Transformation was the plan. As president: - 2009: A Black professor was arrested by a white police officer outside his home. Obama admitted he lacked the facts, then said the police had "acted stupidly." - 2009: House Republicans brought him stimulus proposals. His answer: "I won." - 2010: He forced Obamacare through Congress without a single Republican vote in either chamber. - 2010: He called political opponents "our enemies" and told Latino voters to punish them. - 2012: Before George Zimmerman was charged in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, Obama made it national and racial: "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon." - A jury acquitted Zimmerman. - Obama doubled down: "Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago." - Black Lives Matter emerged from the outrage over that verdict. - 2012: He told business owners: "You didn't build that." - 2013: His IRS admitted targeting Tea Party groups with delays and invasive demands. Lois Lerner took the Fifth. - 2013: "If you like your plan, you can keep it." - Millions lost their plans. - PolitiFact named it “Lie of the Year.” - 2014: Michael Brown was shot in Ferguson, and "hands up, don't shoot" helped ignite riots. - Obama sent three White House officials to Brown's funeral. - His own Justice Department later concluded that the story was false. - By then, the riots had already happened. - 2015: The Supreme Court redefined marriage. Obama lit the White House in rainbow colors and took a victory lap over religious Americans. - 2016: He dragged the Little Sisters of the Poor to the Supreme Court rather than exempt them from his birth-control mandate. - The little sisters are nuns. - 2016: His administration ordered every public school to open bathrooms according to gender identity. - No law. No vote. One letter. - 2016: He welcomed Black Lives Matter into the White House and told its activists they were better organizers than he had been. He was right, they were. - 2016: At the memorial for five Dallas officers murdered by a man hunting white cops, Obama used part of the eulogy to defend the movement attacking American policing. Again and again, when a local racial flashpoint erupted, Obama turned it into a national crisis by picking a side before the facts were settled. Always the same side. The racist side. The side that hates America. And the line went up. In April 2011, Obama used the White House Correspondents' Dinner to humiliate Donald Trump publicly. The cameras cut to the one man who was not laughing. Obama spent eight years treating people like Trump, along with millions of Americans who agreed with them, as a punchline. Eventually, the punchline won. Obama sold unity, governed through division, and left America more politically poisoned than he found it. We still haven’t recovered from the most racist president in modern history.
