The new Pixel 11 line up is here, designed for Gemini Intelligence and with lots of new helpful features. A few I’m excited about: Rambler, a new voice input built for how you actually talk. Magic Capture for effortless photos. And HiLight, a subtle glow when your phone is face down that lets you know when important people in your life are trying to call you.

Just shared some changes we’re making to the teams at @GoogleDeepMind. @DemisHassabis is stepping up to become Chair of @GoogleDeepMind & Chief Scientist of Alphabet, in addition to leading @IsomorphicLabs. He’ll be able to dedicate his time and focus on shaping the future of AGI and scientific discovery. It’s work that is vitally important to Alphabet and humanity, and I can’t imagine a better person than Demis to do it. He’ll stay closely connected to Koray and the GDM teams. @Koraykv will become the SVP, @GoogleDeepMind, responsible for all aspects of model development, GDM research, and @Geminiapp & dev teams. Koray has been at GDM for 13 years and is a world-renowned expert in the field, starting our deep learning team and driving breakthroughs like WaveNet & DQN. GDM is in great hands! Q2 was an amazing quarter, with our AI investments redefining what’s possible across every part of our business. Alphabet revenue grew 24% YoY and Google Cloud accelerated to 82% growth. We saw exciting momentum across the board from Search to YouTube to the Gemini app (which reached 950M monthly active users). Our model APIs are processing 22B tokens/min (up from 16B+ last quarter) driven by our workhorse Flash models. We’re also seeing great adoption of Gemini Enterprise, used by 90% of the Fortune 100, as well as strong demand for our security solutions.
