Tesla has released a new video showing first responders getting familiar with both the Model Y Robotaxi and Cybercab. 🚨 The video covers how emergency personnel can safely interact with the vehicles—and notably shows Cybercab being manually maneuvered using on-screen controls. Even without a steering wheel or pedals, a purpose-built autonomous vehicle still needs a safe way for first responders to control or reposition it during emergencies. Tesla has also prepared dedicated First Responder Interaction Plans, Emergency Response Guides, and Rescue Sheets for its Robotaxi vehicles. It’s another small but important sign that Robotaxi is moving beyond technology demonstrations and toward becoming part of real-world transportation infrastructure.
