This isn’t CGI. This isn’t a render. That is a real stainless-steel spaceship floating in the ocean after coming back from space… and there are people standing ON it. Like ants standing on top of a building that somehow learned how to fly. It went to space. It came screaming back through Earth’s atmosphere. It survived the heat, fire and plasma of reentry. It splashed down in the ocean. And now actual human beings are climbing around on it like it’s some giant shipyard that just fell out of the sky. SpaceX says that a fully and rapidly reusable rocket will fundamentally change humanity’s access to space. The water-recovery footage shows you why without even needing words. The vehicle is enormous. The humans standing on it look super small. And somehow SpaceX is starting to make all of this feel normal. SpaceX built something so massive that a human standing on top of it almost looks out of place… sent that thing to space… brought it back through the atmosphere… and then went out into the ocean and recovered it. This is what the road to making humanity multiplanetary looks like.
