Bhekisani Matabiswana, 27, jailed for life after beating model Luke Harden to death outside Halloween party Luke Harden, 37, a popular DJ and model with Manchester’s Nemesis Model Agency, was stamped on and punched repeatedly in the face and head after a minor argument outside the Rosemount Working Men’s Club in Stacksteads, Lancashire on 31 October 2025. Matabiswana, dressed as a clown, continued the brutal attack even after Luke was on the ground, then pretended to help by rifling through his pockets and using his phone to contact his family while claiming he’d simply “fallen”. Luke was pronounced dead at the scene. Matabiswana tried to flee to South Africa and was arrested at Manchester Airport’s departure gate. He was convicted of murder at Preston Crown Court on 18 May 2026 and given a life sentence. Luke’s devastated family said: “Our lives have completely changed. Losing Luke in such a violent and senseless way is something we carry every single day.”
