The ADHD urge to work on a business and suddenly a year has passed and you’re a millionaire.
As an entrepreneur, I still think modern college is utterly useless.
Being insanely obsessed is a bigger status symbol than driving a Lambo.
Poor people collect information. Rich people are obsessed with execution.

Getting wealthy is actually normal, but most people overcomplicate it and call it investing which they’ll start doing one day.
How to tell if you've found your obsession: • You get stuck in 4-12 hour flow states • You cheat on your real career with it • You desire to hit the top 1% in your field • You love making content about it • You tell everyone about it • You work on it at 12am • Some nights you can't sleep • Your work doesn't feel like work • People say "You've changed, man." • You have a sense of urgency • You act like a psychopath Obsession will completely change your life in a year. Once you find it, it consumes you.

Don’t focus on getting rich. Focus on having the f*cking time of your life.

The wealthiest people I know protect their calendar more than their money.
Thinking your work is brilliant and believing it’s going to bring you enormous success before it’s even released is a form of arrogance that’ll ruin your life.
Worst: - Employed but bored. Better: - Job + side business Best: - Unemployable entrepreneur and wealthy
My conspiracy theory is that everything in life is working in your favor whether you realize it or not.
Your experience is worth at least a million dollars a year. You just have to be insane enough to realise it.
A strong predictor of someone who does extraordinary work is they’re delusionally optimistic almost to the point of insanity.
Derek Sivers gets it: He built CD Baby from nothing, became the largest indie music distributor in the world, sold it for $22 million, and gave every penny to charity. Then he disappeared. No founder story podcast tour. No VC meetings. No personal brand. He moved to New Zealand with a laptop and started writing books that 10,000 people read instead of millions — and he prefers it that way. While every Silicon Valley founder was chasing unicorn status and ringing bells on CNBC, Sivers was asking whether any of it was actually worth wanting. The most successful exit in music tech history ended with a man who decided success was the wrong game entirely.
